We have confirmed that we can resume a contactless click-and-collect model.
We will continue to adhere to strict guidelines surrounding quarantining of toys, social distancing and hygiene measures.
All current toy loans have been extended to cover the lockdown period, but for those who would like to return/get new toys this is how it will work:
Order a toy pick up
Make sure your membership is paid and up to date.
Email Amy with a wish list of items and let her know which morning you will collect.
Amy will pack a mixed bag for you based on your list and confirm by email when it is ready for collection.
Get your current toys together. ALL RETURNING TOYS MUST BE CLEANED BY YOU before returning. Cleaning guidelines are here.
Come to the Toy Library with your returns to collect your new batch on your nominated morning 9.30-12.30. We will do the swap at the foyer door.
Make sure you let us know if you can't collect so we can make those toys available to other members.
We've taken necessary steps to ensure we keep our members safe at this time. No general members are allowed into the Toy Library until current government restrictions are eased.
All toys must be cleaned before returning. Toys are then held in quarantine bays before being checked. Staff and volunteers counting and checking the toys are taking all recommended precautions.
We rely on fundraising to cover toy buying and maintenance costs - you can support the toy library by making a donation via GiveNow. We're a registered charity and endorsed as a deductible gift recipient so all donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
If you, or anyone in your household have tested positive for Covid-19 test please get in touch before returning toys. If you or your household are currently unwell please do not come in.
