Winter’s here, and so are the indoor adventures! Luckily, there’s a lot going on at the Collingwood Toy Library! Whether you're a long-time member or just curious about what we do, here’s what’s new and happening.
🎧 Quiet borrowing sessions now open
Thanks to a government grant, we're offering bookable, private, low-sensory borrowing sessions at Abbotsford and Fitzroy—ideal for families who identify as having access needs or who’d simply enjoy a calmer space. These sessions are open to non-members as well as members and will run until mid-2026. To take toys home, you'll need a membership, which can be purchased on the spot.
💬 Help shape our inclusive programming by filling out this quick, anonymous survey. We’d love to hear your thoughts.
🎲 Playdates for kids (and grownups!)
Join us (and our friends at Yarra Libraries) for:
School holiday program (bookings essential)
For teens and adults
Board Game Nights @ Baroonga Nganjin (multiple dates)
🧱 Lego fun these school holidays
We’re running Lego building sessions at the Toy Library from 5 to 19 July. They’re always a hit, so get in quick.
🪅 Party hire now available
Planning a party? Browse and book our party kits, games, dress-ups, crockery and more, direct from our website. All funds raised help us buy new toys.
🎁 Gift a Membership
Got a little one to spoil? A Toy Library gift membership gives access to over 6,000 toys!
